Massage Therapy

It is our mission to inspire others to move well, be strong, and enjoy life.
We believe in a well-rounded approach to health and wellness, and consider massage therapy an essential. Regular maintenance can help prevent injury, increase mobility and blood flow, and improve the overall quality of your movement.

We offer massage therapy services to members and non-members alike.

We are here for you!

Do you have nagging injuries or aches and pains?

Do you need help recovering from your workouts?

Would you simply like to relax for an hour, de-stress and allow your body to be REJUVENATED?

Meet Our Therapist

Laurie St. Marie, BS, LMT

Laurie was born and raised in Chicopee, MA and is a graduate of Springfield College, where she earned a Bachelors Degree of Science in Rehabilitation Services in 1994. She went on to complete a two-year certification in Massage Therapy at the Bancroft School of Massage in Worcester, MA. She has earned several specialty certifications throughout her long career including Pre-Natal Massage, Functional Movement Taping, and as a Medical Massage Practitioner.

Laurie has been a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association for 20 years.  Her focus in Massage has always been rehabilitative in nature, and she has practiced alongside a local chiropractor for 15 years of her career, treating patients with a variety of acute traumatic injuries, sports injuries and repetitive stress disorders as well as those struggling with chronic pain, postural imbalances and mobility issues.  Her treatments combine deep tissue massage with myofascial techniques, trigger point reduction and Swedish Massage and are based in a strong foundation of anatomical and functional muscular knowledge.

A competitive gymnast and coach through high school, Laurie has always had a respect and admiration for human movement and strength. That may be part of what has drawn her to commit so fully to the programs offered at Train for Life and why bringing her experience as a Massage Therapist to her fellow TFL family members makes perfect sense. The strength and level of fitness Laurie has developed at Train for Life has helped her to rediscover her love for hiking and running, and given her extra energy to enjoy the things she loves most — her 2 children, their growing families, her dog Hazel and her horse in her free time.
